Why is it so difficult to stick to something? To keep the promises we make to ourselves?
To read more books, watch less TV.
To reduce clutter, be more organized.
To be more productive, less unfocused.
To eat better.
To learn something new and keep doing it until achieving mastery.
It’s just easier to not do something, to give up, sleep in, eat some cake and watch TV. But then where will that take you? Where will you be, a year from now if you keep giving in? Will you be happier looking back seeing yourself eat cake, or will you be happier looking back seeing yourself exercising?
Why is it so difficult to choose to be temporarily uncomfortable for the bigger picture that will hopefully make you happy in the end?
